Using Jupyterhub and Jupyterlab notebooks on the MIB infrastructure
JupyterLab enables you to work with documents and activities such as Jupyter notebooks, text editors, terminals, and custom components in a flexible, integrated, and extensible manner. For a demonstration of JupyterLab and its features, you can view this video: https://youtu.be/A5YyoCKxEOU
The Bioinformatics team at MIB maintains a Jupyterhub to interact with data on the 'potato' server. The environment is configured to use your /work/ directory on the 'potato' server in such a way that you can access and post process files that you created on the cluster.
A account on the 'potato' server is needed to be able to use Jupyterhub and Jupyter(lab) notebooks on the MIB infrastructure. Please contact the bioinformatics team as described on the 'potato' wiki pages: http://platecarpus.wur.nl/wiki.potato/index
After your account hase been approved and created, you may login on the Jupyterhub here: https://kale.wur.nl
next you will be presented with the following screen:
